ROMAQUA GROUP SA processes personal data in auxiliary activities that proceed its main activities that are represented by the exploitation, bottling and marketing of mineral waters, the production and marketing of carbonated and non-carbonated non-alcoholic beverages, the production and marketing of beer. Personal data processed by ROMAQUA GROUP SA, generally belong to our representatives and employees and representatives or employees of our commercial or institutional partners.

When collecting, recording, storing, using or processing in any way personal data, we ensure that we comply with an adequate level of data protection and we take all necessary measures to ensure its confidentiality.

Ensuring the protection of personal data is one of the main responsibilities of ROMAQUA GROUP SA in reference to its activity on the market. To this end, ROMAQUA GROUP SA undertakes to comply with the legal principles of data protection, especially those provided in the General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”).

Furthermore, as a controller, ROMAQUA GROUP SA has the obligation to process safely and only for the specified purposes, the personal data that the data subjects provide about them.

ROMAQUA GROUP SA ensures that its employees are adequately trained so as to guarantee that all principles are respected in its processing of personal data.

In carrying out its activity, ROMAQUA GROUP SA processes different categories of personal data, depending on the category of data subjects, thus for the representatives of the clients and suppliers the data refers to the name, surname, function, telephone number and e- mail address.

As a rule, the basis on which ROMAQUA GROUP SA processes personal data is represented by the contract or the statutory obligation imposed to it, the purpose being related to the proper conduct of the contractual relationship or the fulfillment of an obligation.

ROMAQUA GROUP SA undertakes to collect and process only the personal data that are necessary and proportionate for the fulfillment of the legal obligations and for the proper performance of its main activities, which are the exploitation, bottling and marketing of mineral waters, the production and marketing of carbonated and non-carbonated non-alcoholic beverages, the production and marketing of beer.

ROMAQUA GROUP SA guarantees that access to personal data is granted only to its employees within the limits established by their job description in order to fulfill their tasks. We do not disclose any personal data to third parties.

Personal data is stored on the ROMAQUA GROUP SA servers and is managed through an IT system that provides an adequate level of security.

We would like to inform you that according to the new regulations on the protection of personal data provided by the EU General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016, if we process your personal data, you have the following rights:

  • right of access, provided by art. 15 of the GDPR, whereby you can request us, free of charge, to confirm whether or not we process personal data that relate to you. You can also request a copy of the data we process about you. Applications must include relevant information in order to be able to identify you in our database. We will respond to your request within 30 days;
  • right to rectification, provided by art. 16 of the GDPR, which you can exercise by formulating an application through which you may request us to modify the information we already have about you. You can formulate such a request when you notice that your data is incomplete or inaccurate;
  • right to restriction of processing, provided by art. 18 of the GDPR, which you can exercise when contesting the accuracy of the data, when considering processing unlawful or when you oppose to the erasure of the personal data. Following the exercise of this right, we may continue to store the data, making other processing operations possible only with your consent, unless expressly provided for by law;
  • right to data portability, provided by art. 20 of the GDPR, which you can only exercise if the processing is based on your consent or contract, and only if your data is processed by automated means. If you meet the conditions, you may send us a request for porting the data to the operator you want;
  • right to object to the processing of data for marketing purposes, provided by art. 21 of the GDPR. You may exercise this right at any time and we guarantee that your data will no longer be processed for that purpose. However, there may be a reasonable time (72 hours) in which you may still receive marketing information from us meanwhile we record and resolve your request;
  • right to erasure/to be forgotten, provided by art. 17 of the GDPR, according to which we have the responsibility to delete the personal data we process about you. This right is not an absolute one, it is only applicable in certain situations expressly provided by law. When making an erasure request, please be aware that deleting your data may be a complex process.

Personal data processed by ROMAQUA GROUP SA are not subject to the transfer to persons outside the European Economic Area.

The retention period of personal data is determined by the basis of the processing and its purpose. Upon the expiration of these deadlines, all data that would allow people to be identified will be deleted/anonymized and only those that may be useful for statistical purposes will be retained.
